During the third quarter of 2023, the leading Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top 5 apps according to Sensor Tower data.

Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $83.9K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of approximately 6K in the week of August 21, while weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 42.1K at the end of June to about 38.9K by the end of September.

onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS had a notable initial spike in weekly revenue at $50.9K in early July, which then saw a general decline, ending the quarter at $36.3K. Downloads followed a downward trend, starting at 20.6K in late June and dropping to 10K by the end of September. Similarly, active users decreased from 27K to 18.4K over the same period.
